YAS is the concept developed and promoted by the husband-wife team of Alan and Melanie Feldman. Alan is a Master Photographer and business educator. Melanie is an oil painter, sculptor and photographic artist. Both have taught other professional artists and photographers art related and business skills on an international basis. The multi-talented staff of YAS all share the same interest; to bring fine art and art lovers together. Alan and Melanie have operated Feldman's Photography in Florida's Tampa Bay area for over 30 years. Their specialty is quality portraiture and photographic restorations. The Feldman's main interest, outside of art, is international travel. Their love of people, different cultures, exotic cuisines and interesting religions of the world, have taken them to dozens of different countries to teach and to learn. More about Alan M. Feldman Alan is internationally acclaimed for his photographic excellence. Alan was awarded an Honorary Fellowship to the British Photographic Association, is the recipient of Kodak's coveted Gallery Award, is a past President of the Mid-Florida Professional Photographers Association and served on the board of the International Photographers Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City. Alan has taught photographic skills to thousands of other professional photographers throughout the United States and the world. He was chosen to represent the U.S.A. by teaching at the World Council Of Professional Photographers in Dublin, Ireland and again in Gmunden, Austria. Alan has been active in many community affairs including Honrary Mayor of Brandon, Florida, a 30 year member of Rotary and a member in several Chambers of Commerce. More about Melanie J. Feldman Melanie has an extensive art background specializing in the classical arts. She has painted and sculpted on a professional level for over 30 years. She was mentored in fine art under the chief restorator of the "Old Masters" collection of the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. She is the recipient of both national and international awards and has taught photographic artistry to hundreds of professional photographers throughout the world. She too lectured in behalf of the United States at the World Council Of Professional Photographers schools in Dublin and Gmunden, Austria.
